Would not recommend to anyone!

Booked a family meal for my sons birthday yesterday, what a disappointment. Some of the choices that our family ordered had run out, bearing in mind it was only 4.30pm, then some of the meals were under cooked. Next was the sweet course, no chocolate ice cream, someone ordered the lemon sorbet cheese cake and guess what no lemon sorbet left also they had run out of baileys for our coffee. It was a very disappointing evening and would never go again.

Business hotel they are joking!

Rude staff and Management didn’t seem to care less! Not worth the money paid for rooms. Had better experience elsewhere for less money. For the benefit of minimum characters, manager wasn’t bothered with dealing with my complaint, staff clearly working for their wage and that’s it!

Another good customer Lost

We have been regular customers at this pub over the years & always had good service and meals . . . until yesterday (Tuesday) lunchtime. You expect three things when you enter a restaurant: to be given a table, a menu & offered drinks. So we were given a table in full sight of the lady in charge and were then ignored for ten minutes, at which point we got up and left. As we left, the lady offered the excuse that there was a problem with the gas in the kitchen.

Aztetec hotel's spa is disgusting, it's cold

Both the pool and the saunas are cold and full of children going in and out of the saunas and leaving the door open, the jacuzzi is closed but they were letting the children in and out of it, as well as splashing water in the pool and yelling, and understand me, it's a spa, not a public pool.

Thwaites hospitality is unbelieveable

We arrived at 6.45 approximately and many people were eating meal in the outdoor area.We purchased our drinks (cost about £20.00).When we asked for menu to order meals we were told that they had stopped serving meals in outdoor area (despite fact that people around us were being served with full meals. When we asked what time they were supposed to stop serving meals outside, we were told there was no set time, they had just decided (for their own convenience) to stop at that minute.

I will never visit again

I was very disappointed with food I had the turkey off the special board and it was the worst turkey I have ever had the sprouts where undercooked the parsnips where hard and the roast potatoes where hard I got a little pot of gravy which was tasteless the pig in blankets where pink and a little ring of stuffing it all was disgusting and I wasn't the only one who complained about there food around the table one even complained that much they got there money back im not one too complain so didn't

Food Poisoning at 4 star hotel.

My partner and I stayed one night at this 4 star hotel last weekend. We both had dinner in the restaurant. About midnight my partner was suddenly feeling sick and was up all night throwing up. Not the weekend away we had planned. I was Ok although I think it was because I had a cooked started and she had a selection from the chefs cold table. I did tell the reception on checkout and they said they were sorry but that was it.

We will not be visiting again!

The service was extremely poor considering that it was not busy and there were ample waiting on staff. We had to ask for everything from ordering to asking to pay not to mention over a half hour to wait for food and with a young baby in the party this was not acceptable. The food was just ok, the portion sizes were very disappointing thus making the value under par. The scallop starter was also poor value with three scallops for £17.50!! We haven't even paid that in some Manchester restaurants.

Great value

Under new management and thought me an the missus would try out the new menu. The beer in here is always top notch and the food was great really good value for money. Had 2 courses a few drink bill was about £40 well worth it and just what we needed. Will definitely be back. Thanks very much guys

Overpriced old rusty rotten hotel room for £250

Sofa bed was horrendously inadequate. huge mirror stuck above the main bed, which I was nervous of sleeping under, especially as a boy was killed near us from a large mirror falling off a wall and crushing him. woken up middle of the night by drunk guests parting in the halls, no staff to assist with the noise/behaviour. drinks very over priced, £10 for a glass of Prosecco. service at breakfast was non existent. so expensive for a grimy hotel room.
